Guys this client actually made me NERVOUS! I've been doing microblading for about 7 years now and I can confidently say that I haven't felt nervous to work on any client in years... BUT... The other day I did one of my ( very long time) friends brows. Should there be an age limit on microblading ? Be honest, what do you guys think? I say ..... HELL NO... BUT only if it's done correctly. I think it's important to remember a few things while microblading on an older client so here they are; 1.With age eyebrow hair tends to thin out or fall out all together, because of this I tend to like the results of microblading vs powder brows for my older clients . 2. The clients skin tends to move a little more and there are usually some wrinkles on the face, because of this I do not like very harsh or dramatic brow shapes.This draws too much attention to the uneveness of the skin. 3.I want to enhance their natural and MATURE beauty. Why doesn't microblading last forever? Let me break this down in a simple way. When microblading, we are implanting pigment into the skin a lot closer to the surface vs a traditional tattoo. Because of this placement the color tends to break down and fade quicker due to internal and external factors.
